Women’s Basketball Finishes First Semester of Play

The Ozark Christian College Women’s Basketball team wrapped up the fall semester in their game vs Nebraska Christian College on Dec. 10, 2019. The ladies rallied in the fourth quarter to take the lead with less than a minute left in regulation, but were unable to sustain the lead and the game went into overtime. They fell to the Sentinels in overtime 74-66. The Ambassadors were led in scoring by Senior, Adreonna Hughes with 17 points. Makenzie Purinton contributed 13 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Blake Burns added 13 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. 

The Nebraska Christian Sentinels were led in scoring by Jazmyne Santiel with 41 points. 


The Ambassador women finished the first semester with a record of 6-4 and will be back in action on January 4, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. versus (#2) Pensacola Christian College.
