Coach Lahm Reaches 700 Career Wins

Joplin, Mo.

This past Friday in Ankeny, Iowa, the Ambassadors secured a decisive 75-57 victory over the Eagles from Faith Baptist Bible College. The win not only preserved the Ambassadors’ perfect record in Midwest Christian College Conference (MCCC) play but also carried special significance for head coach Chris Lahm, who achieved his 700th career victory.

Now in his 39th year as a head coach—17 at Nebraska Christian College and 22 at Ozark Christian College—Lahm has built an impressive legacy. He has led his teams to multiple MCCC conference championships, won three National Bible College Athletic Association (NBCA) national titles, and most recently claimed an ACCA National Championship. In recognition of his outstanding career, Lahm was inducted into the NCCAA Hall of Fame in 2022.

Reflecting on the milestone, Coach Lahm said, “I’m incredibly blessed to have coached so many outstanding student-athletes over the years. This achievement is as much theirs as it is mine. It’s a testament to their hard work, dedication, and belief in our program. I would also like to credit my lovely wife Dawn and my four children for the encouragement to keep going for all these years.”
