Joplin to Host the 2025 NCCAA Cross Country Championships
November 14, Tom Rutledge CC Course — On behalf of the NCCAA and the Board of Directors, welcome to the 2025 Men’s and Women’s Cross Country National Championships in Joplin, Missouri. It is exciting for all of us to have over 200 athletes from our membership in Joplin this week to crown four National Champions. We
congratulate each team and individual on their success this season and wish you the very best!
These events are just four of our 24 national events sanctioned by the NCCAA. Over 23,000 student-athletes and 88 institutions make up the NCCAA and these events are an important part of what we do. Each participant will be engaged in unique Christian Service Project (CSP) efforts to ensure Christ’s love is shared before the championships begin. The CSP offering given here will be part of thousands of hours and dollars offered by NCCAA championship participants in the 2025-26 academic year as a part of our #KingChasing program efforts.
The NCCAA continues to thank Mason Blevins from Sterling College, Division I Cross Country Chair, and Ryan Long from Faith Baptist Bible College, Division II Cross Country Chair, for their excellent leadership in organizing and administering these sports throughout the fall. The NCCAA is grateful to Ozark Christian College as well for partnering together with the Joplin Sports Authority to host this event.
The NCCAA is unique and stands alone as the only association that intentionally keeps Christ at the center of intercollegiate athletics. Events such as this help highlight that effort, and we trust each of you will experience the NCCAA at its finest this week.
Sincerely,
Dan Wood
Executive Director
